We were very impressed with the quality of the field of candidates and we are delighted to confirm the appointment of Janine Cook, commencing 2024.

Janine joins us from Dartmoor Multi-Academy Trust, where she has been head of two small schools and a larger setting in Okehampton.  We feel very fortunate to have such an experienced and passionate colleague joining us - she told us how Horwood, as a small school, had pulled on the heart strings and this was plain during the interview process.

Over the summer term, Janine Cook and John Hick will work together to secure a smooth transition for the children and the community.
