Class 2 Trip to Northam Burrows
Tuesday 24th September 2024 - Geography Curriculum Visit
Class 2 had an exciting day exploring Westward Ho and Northam Burrows as part of their KS1 Geography curriculum. The children learnt about the history of Westward Ho and the changes it has undergone over time, including how humans have impacted the area by creating an open sea pool with dynamite. In the afternoon, they hunted for bugs and insects in the constantly shifting sand dunes, identifying various insect and animal species in their natural habitats. The children were impeccably behaved during the trip and were a credit to our school. Well done Class 2 - what a fantastic day of learning and discovery!
