The school receives approximately £17,000 per annum to encourage the children to be active. Miss Wooddisse is our PE Co-ordinator and ensures this money is spent correctly.
We do have not have our school hall or playing field so the Sports Grant enables us to creatively offer our pupils high quality PE opportunities such as learning at Tarka Tennis, Falcons Gymnastics and trampolening at Air Extreme. We are also exploring off site visits to the fully equipped sports hall at Tawstock Court during the Autumn Term.
The children also use the local Village Hall and Parish field every week to ensure they are undertaking their required allocation of physical education.
